Michelle was scheduled to be induced at 6:30 on Friday morning.  At 5:00, the hospital called and said they were backed up with deliveries and we were going to be put in a "hold" until they could free up the resources to continue with the plan to induce.  We were supposed to call every 2 hours to check status.  Right after the call at 12:00 where we were told that we would be holding at least another 2-3 hours, Michelle started having contractions.  By 1:00 it was full blown labor.  So much for the planned induction!  We headed to the hospital and by the time we arrived, her contractions were 2 minutes apart.  But we still had a while to wait.

Grant Michael finally arrived at 9:30 Friday night, weighing in at a whooping 8 lbs, 2 oz's.  Mom and baby are fine and were able to come home on Monday, June 4th.
